We sat down with Lisa and David, who’ve made R.Iconic their home, to hear what led them to buy here and what they love about the building and the community it provides.
At first glance, it was the view that captured their attention — a sweeping, uninterrupted panorama they hadn’t expected to find in Melbourne. “I got to the front door, looked out, and just thought — what city am I in? I didn’t think this view existed.”
What started as curiosity quickly turned into something more. Having previously lived in a luxury development on the St Kilda foreshore, this family already had high expectations. But visiting R.Iconic for the first time offered more than just luxury — it offered the kind of lifestyle they hadn’t realised they were searching for.
Working in the city, one of the great attractions is a 13 minute walk to my office. We have the light rail immediately at the back door which I catch to the footy and I also travel interstate for work, so getting to the airport in 20 minutes is fantastic.
